Pedestrian Dies After Crash At Penrith 5 June

A woman has died following a crash in Sydney's west.

About 5.30pm today (Thursday 5 June 2025), emergency services were called to Macquarie Avenue, Penrith, following reports a ute had allegedly struck a pedestrian before driving away from the scene without stopping.

A woman – believed to be aged in her 40's – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, she died at the scene.

She is yet to be formally identified.

Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene which will be forensically examined by investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
