Pedestrian hit by van - Tempe

A pedestrian has been injured after being hit by a van at Tempe this afternoon.

About 3pm (Tuesday 10 September 2019) emergency services were called to the southbound lanes of the Princes Highway, near Holbeach Avenue, Tempe where a man had been hit by a van.

Paramedics attended the scene and treated the man for head and leg injuries. He was then transported to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

All surrounding roads are now reopened.

The driver of the van has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
