Pedestrian injured after being hit by a truck - Baulkham Hills

A man has been taken to hospital after being struck by a truck in Baulkham Hills tonight.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command have been told a 36-year-old man from Baulkham Hills, was struck by a truck as he crossed the road at traffic lights, on the M2 on ramp Windsor Road, about 8pm (Tuesday 14 May 2019).

The injured man was treated at the scene for a suspected fractured leg and head injuries before being taken to Westmead Hospital, where he is reported to be in a stable condition.

The driver of the Isuzu truck, a 51-year-old man from Wentworthville, was breath tested at the scene returning a negative result.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information about the crash is urged to come forward.
