Pedestrian injured following crash in Cherrybrook

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit in Sydney’s northwest today, NSW Police say.

About 5.45pm today, police and emergency services responded to reports of a young woman struck by a car as she crossed Shepherds Drive, Cherrybrook.

NSW Ambulance Paramedics treated the 16-year-old girl at the scene before taking her to Westmead Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

The 56-year-old woman driving the Audi was uninjured and was breath-tested with a negative result.

Officers attached to Ryde Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation with specialist crash investigators also in attendance.
