Pedestrian Seriously Injured - Arncliffe

A woman is in critical condition following a crash in Sydney's south.

Just after 10pm today (Sunday 19 May 2024), emergency services were called to Forest Road, Arncliffe, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.

The pedestrian – believed to be a 19-year-old woman – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver – a 50-year-old man – was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to St George Police Area Command established a crime scene which is being examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
