A woman is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Dick Ward Drive earlier tonight.
Initial reports indicate the woman was struck by a vehicle travelling on Dick Ward Drive outside Minmarama Park in Ludmilla around 7:35pm, Northern Territory Police say.
The woman received serious injuries and has been transported to the Royal Darwin Hospital.
The driver, who remained on scene, did not receive any physical injuries.A road closure is in place between Fitzer Drive and Nadpur Street.
Members of the Major Crash Investigation Unit will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
