Pedestrians injured in crash at Point Lowly, SA

A pedestrian will be flown to Adelaide with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at Point Lowly on the Eyre Peninsula this morning, according to SA Police.

Emergency services, including police, ambulance and MFS, were called to the Point Lowly lighthouse just before 10.30am on Monday 13 June.

Two pedestrians were injured when a vehicle collided with the parked car they were standing next to on Lighthouse Drive, Point Lowly.

One pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the collision and will be flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for medical treatment. The second pedestrian also sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle also sustained minor injuries.

Major Crash investigators have been advised of the crash and will attend the scene.
