Penalty notices issued following party at Williams Landing rental property

Police issued penalty notices to four people after a party at a rental property in Williams Landing overnight, Victoria Police say.

Police were called to the Carnival Place property following reports of an out of control party about 2.40am.

On police arrival over 150 people were observed and many left when directed to.

One man and three women, who allegedly refused warnings to move on, were detained and taken from the area to another location where they left by public transport.

A 19-year-old woman from Tarneit, a 21-year-old man from Hoppers Crossing, a 20-year-old woman from Narre Warren and a 21-year-old woman from Werribee were all issued with a penalty notice for contravention of a direction to move on.

This penalty notice carries a $317 fine.

It is believed only very minimal damage was caused inside the property with no external damage reported.

There were no reports of violence, drunken behaviour or injuries.

Police continued to patrol the area to ensure party goers did not return.
