Pharmacy robbed in Ryde

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a pharmacy at North Ryde today, NSW Police say.

Just after midday (Thursday 16 November 2017), a man entered a pharmacy on Coxs Road and confronted staff.

The man made threats while demanding drugs.

He fled with a number of items and police were alerted.

Officers from Ryde Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene which is being forensically examined.

Police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 40 to 50 years old, approximately 173cm tall, cleanly shaven, with a large build.

He was last seen wearing a black hat, black zip-up jacket, black three-quarter shorts and dark- coloured joggers.

An investigation is underway and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
