Swan Hill Rural City Council's much-loved photo competition, Our Municipality Through Your Lens, is back for 2026—once again inviting photography enthusiasts to showcase their talent for a chance to be featured in Council's Annual Report.
Residents from across the Swan Hill municipality are encouraged to submit up to three photographs that capture the unique beauty, character and spirit of the region. Entries may include landscapes, streetscapes, local landmarks, flora and fauna, or candid moments of community life.
The winning photograph will be featured on the front cover of Council's 2025/26 Annual Report, with a selection of standout entries also appearing throughout the publication.
Mayor Cr Stuart King said the competition continues to be a great way to celebrate both the region and the people who call it home.
"Each year we are impressed by the creativity and talent of our community, and the incredible way people capture the essence of our municipality," Cr King said.
"This competition is a wonderful opportunity to share your perspective and highlight what makes our region such a special place to live, work and visit."
Entries are now open and close on Friday, 31 July 2026. All photographs must be original, submitted in digital format, and taken within the Swan Hill municipality.
