Pink batt prowler arrested at Seaton, SA

Western Adelaide Police have arrested a man after he was found wrapped in ceiling insulation in the roof of a house at Seaton overnight, according to SA Police.

Just after 11pm on Saturday 17 December, a resident in Heron Place rang police after they went to investigate some loud noises, only to discover a man on the roof of their home.

On police arrival, they spotted the intruder jumping across roofs of homes in an attempt to escape.

Patrols set up cordons around the area, when they noticed the man had lifted several roof tiles of a home and climbed into the ceiling space of a house.

Police STAR group officers attended to assist and search inside the ceiling of the house, to find the intruder wrapped in pink insulation batts in the corner of the roof.

The man in his 20's has arrested and charged with refuse name and address, serious criminal trespass, being on premises for an unlawful purpose, and going equipped to commit an offence after he was found to be in possession of gloves.

There were no injuries in the incident and no damage caused to any of the homes.
