Pizza delivery rider robbed at Seven Hills

Police are appealing for information after a delivery rider was robbed in the Western suburbs overnight.

About 9pm yesterday (Wednesday 8 January 2020), a pizza shop delivery rider was delivering an order to an address on Railway Avenue, Seven Hills, when he was allegedly approached by four unknown persons.

One man allegedly punched the rider in the face, causing his lip to bleed.

The men demanded the rider hand over his float, before leaving the scene with the contents of the delivery and a small amount of cash.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were alerted to the incident and commenced an investigation.

The 19-year-old rider was taken to Blacktown Hospital for treatment to his lip.

Three of the persons are described as male, Caucasian in appearance, with the fourth not further described.

The first man is described as being 18-20 years old, 185cm tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie with a white hood.

The second man is described as being 13-15 years old, 160-165cm tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white jumper with colourful stripes on the front

The third man is described as 18-20 years old with a muscular build and shoulder length, brown curly hair. He was last seen wearing light coloured trackpants with no shirt.
