STATUS: PLANNED BURN - A planned burn is currently underway.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside, Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Bushfires NT advises that the Bachelor, Adelaide River and Tortilla Flats Volunteer Bushfire Brigade (BART) will be conducting roadside burning operations along the Stuart Highway corridor from Strickland Road to Ringwood Road from Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May 2026.

Smoke will be visible in the area during this period. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and be aware of firefighting vehicles and personnel operating on the roadside.
