‘We are very pleased to have earned three awards within a few months’, rejoiced Sander Van de Rijdt, Managing Director and Co-Founder of PlanRadar. ‘The international awards are not only a proof for the fact that we are on the right track with our business model, but also a reward for our work and an incentive to further develop our product’,Van de Rijdt added.

PlanRadar, expert for digital documentation of construction and defect management, achieved a growth of revenue of roughly 40 percent within the first months of this year. The seven-figure turnover increased by almost 200 percent compared to April 2017. At the same time, the company almost tripled the number of customers to more than 2000. Among these are reputable customers such as the European giants Porr, STRABAG, REWE or Union Investment . ‘By opening up to new markets, we aim at increasing the number of customers to at least 5.000 globally by the end of the year’, explains Sander Van de Rijdt.

At present, the company is represented in 29 countries. Apart from Australia and New Zealand, this includes Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Singapore and the Philippines. ‘Besides Europe we want to open up new markets in South America and East Asia. Time zones and languages don’t matter’, Van de Rijdt announced.

PlanRadar’s web based SaaS-Solution offers the possibility to manage all tasks and activities, from planning to construction and continuance, within the lifecycle of a construction or real estate project via smartphone and tablet – be it the recording and documentation of construction progress, communication of construction defects, the creation of a construction report or the tracking of tasks handed out in property and facility management.

By means of partnerships with Buildware and Mecca Events, PlanRadar will push its growth in Australia. ‘We have found the right partners to best serve our growing number of customers in Australia’, said Sander.’
