Police Address Major Traffic Crash in Brisbane City

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred in Brisbane City last night, 16 May.

Around 9.21pm, police were called to the intersection of George Street and Turbot Street following reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a bus.

The male pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

No one else was injured in the crash, and the driver of the bus is assisting with police enquiries.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has relevant dashcam vision, to come forward.

The investigation is ongoing.
