Police appeal after act of indecency in Lidcombe

Police are appealing for information after an incident in Ldcombe this morning, NSW Police say.

About 9.30am today, police were called to Wyatt Park, Lidcombe, following reports a man was acting suspiciously.

Officers from Flemington Local Area Command attended and found man had committed an act of indecency at the location.

They arrested the 31-year-old man and he was taken to Auburn Police Station.

He was later transferred to Westmead Hospital where he is awaiting assessment.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
