Police appeal after armed robbery in Karabar

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery near Queanbeyan this morning, NSW Police say.

About 10.55am (Saturday 15 December 2018), an unknown woman entered a supermarket on Donald Road, Karabar before threatening a store attendant with a knife and demanding cash.

The woman took cash before leaving the store.

She is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged in her late 40s, about 150-160cm tall, with a large build.

She was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded jumper with white writing on the chest area, and purple sunglasses.

Officers from Monaro Police District were notified before attending the store and commencing inquiries.
