Police appeal after assault in Liverpool

Police are appealing for assistance from the public after a woman was assaulted by a man at Liverpool yesterday.

Police have been told at about 1.30pm today, a woman was walking through a shopping centre in Liverpool when an unknown man approached her and allegedly assaulted her. , NSW Police say

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command are investigating the incident.


Police want to speak to a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance and 45-50-years old. He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, a white shirt and a ‘Jim Beam’ brand hat.

Police are concerned for the man’s welfare. They have been told the man frequents shopping centres in the Liverpool area.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
