Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly couple were robbed at a home in Albury overnight.
Between 7.30pm and 10.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 26 November 2019), an unknown person broke into a unit on Palm Drive, Albury.
Cash and jewellery were allegedly stolen while an elderly man and woman were in another room watching television.
No persons were injured during the alleged offences.
Officers from Murray River Police District have commenced an investigation and are appealing for public assistance.
Anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious on Palm Drive or in surrounding streets at the time of the alleged offence is urged to contact Albury police on (02) 6023 9258 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police inquiries are continuing.
