Police appeal after grocery store robbery at Auburn

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Sydney's west last night.

About 10.15pm (Saturday 28 December 2019), two men entered a grocery store on Cumberland Road in Auburn, where they allegedly threatened an employee before taking cash from the till and leaving in a small, dark-coloured vehicle.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

One man is described as wearing a black, hooded 'Adidas' jumper, shorts, green gloves and with his face covered.

The second man is described as wearing a black hooded jacket and black long pants, white shoes, green gloves, also with his face covered.

As investigations into the robbery continue, police are urging anyone who may have information or dashcam/CCTV to contact Auburn police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
