Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly seen filming children from outside a childcare in Western Sydney yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 11.50 am yesterday, children at a childcare on Talbot Road, Guildford, were playing outside when an employee noticed a man allegedly pointing his phone at children over the fence of the premises.
The children were taken inside the centre and an employee notified police.
Officers from Rosehill Local Area Command are now seeking to identify a man who they believe may be able to assist with enquiries.
The man is described as being about 40 years old and of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, with a bald head, a mole on his left cheek and a tattoo of writing on his forearm.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
