Police appeal after three-vehicle crash - Haberfield

Police are appealing for public assistance after a three-vehicle crash in Haberfield this morning.

About 12.40am (Saturday 4 May 2019), emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway, near Sloane Street, after reports of a crash.

Police have been told a vehicle travelling west has crossed the median strip and collided with a vehicle travelling east in the east-bound lane.

The collision caused the east-bound travelling vehicle to collide with another vehicle.

The west-bound vehicle's occupants – two men – were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, one to be treated for serious injuries, and the other in a stable condition for minor injuries.

Two men, occupying the other vehicles, were taken to St Vincent's Hospital in stable conditions to be treated for minor injuries.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command and the Crash Investigation Unit remain on scene as inquiries continue.
