Police appeal for dash cam vision after Flemmington stabbing

Detectives from Moonee Ponds Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for assistance from the public following a stabbing in Flemington on Friday night.

Investigators have been told a 31-year-old man was walking beside Racecourse Road about 11pm when he was approached by three males who appear to have been known to the victim.

Police believe the victim was stabbed during a brief altercation and soon after was taken by ambulance to hospital in a serious condition.

Detectives are appealing for dash cam footage from anyone who was driving near the intersection of Racecourse Road and the Tullamarine Freeway at the time of the incident.
