Police appeal for information after house destroyed by fire at Wentworth

Police are appealing for information after a house was destroyed by fire in the state's far south west.

About 2am yesterday (Sunday 4 August 2019), officers attached to Barrier Police District received reports of a house on fire in West Street at Wentworth.

NSW Fire Brigade attended and extinguished the fire, however the house, a vehicle and a caravan were destroyed.

There was no one at the property at the time of the fire.

Police established a crime scene and investigations continue.
