Police appeal for information after house fire - Glenmore Park

Police have appealed for information from the public after a house was destroyed by fire at Glenmore Park overnight.

Shortly after 1.30am today (Wednesday 17 April 2019), emergency services were contacted about a house on fire in Kyarra Terrace.

Numerous residents in the area were disturbed by loud explosions from the home, which was well alight.

Emergency services were contacted with the Rural Fire Service and officers from Nepean Police Area Command attending.

Police established a crime scene at the property but are unable to enter the premises at this time.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

As their inquiries continue, detectives have urged anyone with information about unusual or suspicious behaviour in Kyarra Terrace overnight, to come forward.
