Police appeal for information after suspicious shed fire at Collarenebri

An investigation is underway into a suspicious fire in the state's north west over the weekend.

About 4.30am (Saturday 22 June 2019), emergency services were called following reports a fire had engulfed a shed on Earl Street, Collarenebri.

The blaze was extinguished by NSW Rural Fire Service within minutes, however the structure was destroyed.

Detectives from Central North Police District established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the incident.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
