Police appeal for information at Mackay, QLD

Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist their investigations into a number of break and enters, dangerous operation of motor vehicles and arson incidents between Bowen and Sarina, Queensland Police say.

In the latest incident, the man is believed to have stolen a brand new grey coloured 2017 model Ford GT Mustang from a business in Main Street, Proserpine yesterday.

The same Mustang crashed into the front fence of an address in Archibald Street at Mackay today.

The man is described as Caucasian, proportionate build, 165cm tall with blonde hair.

It is believed the man is now travelling in the Mackay area in a stolen white utility.

Police are urging the public not to approach the man, but to contact police on Triple Zero (000).
