Police appeal for Information - Death - Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police are investigating the death of a 44-year-old man in an Adelaide hospital overnight.

The man attended the Tennant Creek hospital on Friday, 9 February seeking treatment for injuries from an alleged assault, Northern Territory Police say.

He was transferred to Alice Springs hospital on Saturday, 10 February before being transported to Adelaide the next day.

Major Crime detectives are now travelling to Tennant Creek to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
