Yarra Vehicle Crime Reduction Team officers are asking for public assistance following the theft of a 2006 White Subaru Impreza in Keilor Downs in August, Victoria Police say.
Police believe the car was stolen sometime between Sunday 28 August and Monday 29 August outside a residential address on El Golea Mews, Keilor Downs.
Police located the stolen Subaru in an underground carpark on Exhibition Street in the Melbourne CBD on Friday 16 September.
CCTV footage captured a man and a woman, believed to be in their 20s, exit the car and enter the apartment building.
The pair are believed to be of Caucasian appearance and were wearing clothing depicted in the images below.
Investigators have released CCTV and images of a man and woman they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
