Police appeal for information folowing Bentleigh East crash

Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a property in Bentleigh East earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

Residents at a Bonny Street property were woken about 5am on 8 June when a car crashed into their fence.

No one was injured in the incident, however the fence and a children’s cubby house sustained significant damage.

The driver left the scene without identifying themself.

Part of the bumper bar of the vehicle was left behind and it’s believed to be that of a blue Subaru WRX.

Moorabbin police are investigating the incident and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash of has knowledge of a vehicle fitting that description with front-end damage.

Investigators have also released images of the damage to the property.
