Police appeal for information to locate missing man - Merrylands

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from Merrylands in Sydney's south-west.

Morteza Hosseini, aged 28, was last seen in Merrylands about 9am on Thursday (12 September 2019).

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have serious concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a number of health conditions and requires regular medication.

Morteza is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, 170cm tall, medium build, with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded top, black pants and blue sandals.

He is known to frequent public parks in the Bankstown area.

Police are urging anyone with information on Morteza's whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
