Police appeal for mobile phone footage after Swan Hill death

Homicide Squad detectives are appealing for anyone with mobile phone footage to come forward following the death of a man in Swan Hill earlier this year.

Police and emergency services were called to a brawl on Campbell Street about 1.15am on 19 January.

A 20-year old Swan Hill man died at the scene.

A 40-year old man also from Swan Hill was questioned by police at the time, however he was released pending further enquiries.

Investigators believe that there may be members of the local community who are in possession of mobile phone footage from that evening.

They are urging anyone with footage or information about the circumstances leading up to the man's death to come forward.

Anyone with footage or with any further information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report to www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
