Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command are appealing for information from a potential witness to an alleged crime which occurred on or about 3pm at Holden Street, Ashfield near Liverpool Road on Tuesday 3 March 2026.
Following inquiries, police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may assist with their investigation.
The person is described as being of African appearance, aged in his 20s or early 30s, with short black hair and a goatee.
He was wearing a blue T-shirt, blue shorts and carrying a black backpack.
Police urge the witness to come forward.
