Police appeal for witnesses to Buckley crash

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses after a car crashed into steel barriers at Buckley yesterday, Victoria Police say.

Officers have been told that a white Holden Commodore sedan was travelling east along Princes Highway when it struck roadside steel barriers about 4.30pm.

The 24-year-old female passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and the 38-year-old male driver stained serious injuries.

Both the driver and passenger were taken to hospital.

Investigators are keen to speak with anyone that may have seen the vehicle in the time before to the crash, between 4–4.30pm, driving on Princes Hwy at Winchelsea.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
