Police have arrested a man in his 30’s from East Devonport, Tasmania at the intersection of Swanston Street and Flinders Lane, Melbourne at about 3pm, Victoria Police say.
The man was driving a white 1998 Mazda Campervan.
Police believe the car was involved in some minor collisions in the Richmond area, specifically Highett and Burnley Streets, around 2.20pm earlier today.
The man will be taken to a police station for a drug assessment and for some outstanding warrants.
There have been no injuries to any persons.
Swanston Street between Flinders Lane and Flinders Street is currently closed. Please avoid the area.
