Police Appeal: Molendinar Attempted Murder Probe

Detectives are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate the attempted murder of a 17-year-old Carrara boy last night, November 6.

A white Mercedes-Benz X250D Dual Cab Ute, with QLD Rego 713LY3 was seen leaving the scene at Batchworth Road, Molendinar soon after the incident.

The vehicle was later sighted on Cotlew Street, Ashmore at around 8.50pm before being located abandoned at a business on Marine Parade, Labrador at around 9.15pm.

Police believe the owner of the vehicle may be able to assist them with their investigations.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with vision from the vicinity of Batchworth Road at Molendinar, Cotlew Street at Ashmore and Marine Parade at Labrador between 7.30pm and 9.30pm to contact police.
