Police have charged a teenager following investigations into a multi vehicle traffic crash at Susan River on 30 April.
It will be alleged about 6.10pm, a white Mitsubishi Lancer was travelling north on Maryborough Hervey Bay Road when it lost control and veered onto the opposite side of the road, swiping a white Suzuki Swift before colliding head on with a red Volkswagen Polo.
That crash caused an orange Hyundai Kona that was travelling behind the Volkswagen to rear end that vehicle.
A total of 10 people were injured in the crash and were taken to hospital for treatment to various injuries.
A 15-year-old Urangan boy has since been charged with two counts each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance and possessing dangerous drugs, as well as one count each of driving a motor vehicle without a license and driving an unregistered vehicle.
The boy appeared in the Hervey Bay Childrens Court on 27 August.
