Police appeal to find man missing from Sydney's north-west 3 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north-west.

Mr Dong Lu, aged 70, was last seen leaving his home in Dundas Valley about 12.45pm today (Saturday 3 December 2022).

When he was unable to be located, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police hold concerns for Mr Lu's welfare as he lives with a medical condition which may make him appear confused or disoriented.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, 170cm-175cm tall, of thin build, short, dark hair streaked with grey and dark eyes. When last seen he was wearing grey pants, a yellow shirt, a dark-green bomber jacket and black leather shoes. He speaks only Mandarin.

Mr Lu is known to frequent the Carlingford area.
