Police appeal to find missing girl - Dean Park

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's West this week.

Amelia Hamza, aged 12, was last seen leaving a home on Denbern Street, Dean Park, about 12pm on Thursday 4 March 2021.

When she failed to return home, officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command were notified of her disappearance yesterday (Saturday 6 March 2021) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Amelia's welfare due to her young age and inquiries have led police to believe she spent time in the Sydney CBD yesterday (Saturday 6 March 2021).

Amelia is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 150cm tall, of slim build, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
