Police appeal to find missing girl from Lithgow

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Lithgow.

Tia Whitfield, aged 14, was last seen at the intersection of Mort Street and Hartley Valley Road about 6pm yesterday (Monday 3 August 2020).

Officers from Chifley Police Districts have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Tia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a red/black hoddie and black ripped jeans carrying a small black bakpack.

Anyone who sees Tia or knows of her whereabouts is urged to contact Lithgow Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
