Police appeal to find missing man at Broken Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Broken Hill, in the state's far west.

Leslie Harris, aged 47, was last seen leaving a home on Oxide Street, Broken Hill, about 12.15am on Sunday 17 October 2021.

Officers from Barrier Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Leslie is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, between 165 – 170cm tall, of medium build with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Leslie is known to frequent Wilcannia and Broken Hill. Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.
