Police appeal to find missing man at Tweed Heads

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Tweed Heads.

Robert Cranfield, aged 75, was last seen leaving a hotel on the corner of Griffith and Wharf Streets, Tweed Heads, about 1.30am today (Wednesday 3 November 2021). He left via a fire escape exit near Stuart Street.

Officers from Tweed/Byron Police District were contacted and commenced an investigation into Mr Cranfield's whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia and has a number of medical conditions that require medication.

Mr Cranfield is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair.

He was last seen wearing blue boxer shorts, a light-coloured shirt and white socks.
