Police appeal to find missing man in Sydney CBD

Police are appealing for public information to find a man missing from the Sydney CBD.

Nil Sharma, aged 48, was last seen at the Bathurst Street entrance to Town Hall Train Station, about 12pm Friday 2 April 2021, after he had walked off from his carer.

Police were contacted by Mr Sharma's carer that afternoon, with officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command commencing an investigation into Mr Sharma's whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as Mr Sharma has a medical condition that requires medication.

Mr Sharma's phone was located in the Woolloomooloo area.

Mr Sharma is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, 175cm tall, with medium build, with short grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a long blue jumper, a maroon shirt and green shorts.

Investigators urge anyone who might have information about Mr Sharma's whereabouts to contact Sydney City Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
