Police are appealing for public assistance to find a mother and baby missing from Sydney's west.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have been told a 39-year-old woman left a government office in Parramatta with her six-month-old daughter about 3pm yesterday (Friday 28 February 2020).
Police were informed about 5.30pm and initiated an investigation.
They are appealing for information to locate the child as they have concerns for her welfare.
Six-month old Juliana Punzo is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a fair complexion, thin build, 40cm to 50cm, and between 5kg and 10kg. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen with her mother, Joanna Punzo, who is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion and a thin build, 170cm-175cm tall and 70kg to 75kg. She has brown hair and green eyes.
It's unknown what the mother or baby were wearing when last seen.
Police have been told Ms Punzo has links to western Sydney including Guildford, Girraween and Parramatta and may be in the area.
