Police appeal to find woman missing from Lakemba

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a woman reported missing from Lakemba yesterday.

Mira Tjendrakasih, aged 60, was last seen around midday (Wednesday 13 January 2021), at Lakemba, but hasn't been seen since.

Mrs Tjendrakasih, who is originally from Indonesia, is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall with a medium build.

When she was last seen she was wearing a black and white 'speckled' shirt, grey pants, light blue sandals, and a dark blue hijab.

Police and Mrs Tjendrakasih's family have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition which requires daily medication. She may appear disoriented or confused and is unable to communicate.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command – assisted by Polair, PORS, and Police Rescue – have conducted extensive searches of the surrounding area for the missing woman without success and are now appealing for the public for assistance.
