Police appeal to locate 93yo woman missing from Georges Hall

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing in the Sydney's west.

Viv Burt, aged 93, was last seen in the vicinity of an aged care facility on Rex Road, Georges Hall, about 1.30pm today (Sunday 30 May 2021).

She was reported missing to officers from Bankstown Police Area Command, who have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia as has no personal belongings with her.

Viv is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall and of medium build.

She was last seen wearing tight blue pants, a floral shirt and a short sleeve puffer jacket. She is also known to walk bent over with her hands behind her back.

Anyone who may have seen Viv is urged to immediately contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
