Police Appeal To Locate Boy Missing From Hornsby

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy reported missing from Sydneys west.

Daniel Ling, aged 11, was last seen outside Hornsby Railway Station yesterday (Thursday 2 April 2026).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Kuring-Gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Daniel is described as being of Asian appearance, about 130cm tall, of thin build, with short black hair.

He is known to frequent the shopping centre and library in the Hornsby area.
