Police Appeal To Locate Boy Missing From South Coogee

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy reported missing from Sydney's Eastern Beaches.

Phillip Fong, aged 11, was last seen in South Coogee about 3pm today (Wednesday 21 January 2026).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Phillip's welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 152cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue "Minecraft" shirt, and light grey shorts. He is also using crutches.

Phillip is known to frequent the Coogee Beach, Kensington and Randwick areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Maroubra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
