Police appeal to locate elderly man missing from Sydney's west 8 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's west.

Julio Pachas, aged 82, was last seen at his home on Fitzgerald Avenue, Edensor Park, about 6.30am today (Sunday 8 May 2022).

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command commenced an investigation into Julio's whereabouts when they were notified of Julio's disappearance about 4pm.

Concerns are held for Julio's welfare as he is partially blind and due to his age.

Julio is described as being of South American appearance, about 160cm - 170cm tall, of slim build and with black hair.

He was last seen wearing a light brown jumper as depicted in the image, black t-shirt, black trousers, black shoes, and may be wearing a gold chain with a cross.

Anyone with information regarding Julio's whereabouts is urged to contact Fairfield Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
