Police appeal to locate elderly woman missing from Campsie

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from Sydney's south west.

Guo Ming Wu, aged 86, was last seen at her home on Sixth Avenue, Campsie, about 10.30am today (Tuesday 11 January 2022).

She was reported missing to officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command when she did not return home from a walk.

An investigation into her whereabouts is underway and police and family hold concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.

Guo is described as being of Asian appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, with shoulder length grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a floral print shirt, and dark coloured pants. She walks with a slight limp and mainly communities in Mandarin.

Guo is known to frequent the Campsie area on foot.
